Open House A Success!

LVFD Open House Rescheduled for Sunday, 10/25

The time for the event will remain the same, from 11am - 3pm. Please pass this along to anyone who is interested in attending. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

LVFD Raises over $17,000 for Operation Wounded Warrior!

We would especially like to thank Peter Morris for his leadership and guidance in the kitchen, the local businessness who generously donated door prizes, and the community who came out in support of this wonderful cause. We would also like to congratulate our co-chairs for the event: Paul Long, Paul Marecki, and Brian Plumb on exceeding even their highest expectations. Read more
Operation Wounded Warrior Spaghetti Dinner - October 10th
Submitted by Jeff Baker on October 1, 2009 - 15:50The Locust Valley Fire Department is hosting our 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, October 10, 2009 (4pm - 8pm) to help support the Operation Wounded Warrior (OWW) program. OWW's mission is to deliver health and comfort items to wounded service personnel in need and to personally welcome them home. The money we raise from this event goes toward purchasing clothing, toiletries, phone cards, gift certificates, ipods, dvds, etc....for our young wounded soldiers who have recently returned from Iraq or Afghanistan and who are starting their rehabilitation.
