New LVFD Chiefs Take Office

At 7:00 pm on Monday, April 13, Jeffrey E. Baker was sworn in as the Department's 52nd Chief of Department. Along side Chief Baker was 1st Assistant Chief Dominick Scaperotta, 2nd Assistant Chief Brian T. Nolan and 3rd Assistant Chief Peter D. Greenfield.

The Chiefs' were sworn in by Commissioner and Ex-Chief Joseph Peirano in the Board Room. Commissioners' Harrison, Eliseo and Banker were also present.

For the past two years, the department was under the command of Chief Patrick Vissichelli. Chief Vissichelli was presented with an Ex-Chief shield and thanked for his years of dedicated service by Chief Baker.
