Ex-Chief Patrick Vissichelli

Patrick Vissichelli – Ex-Chief of Department
Ex-Chief Patrick Vissichelli joined the department on February 14, 1977. As a member of Hose Company No. 1 he held the position of Assistant Engineer for 5 consecutive years. In April of 1984, he transferred to Hook and Ladder Company No. 1. Since 1990, Pat has held numerous positions within the Hook and Ladder Company including Assistant Engineer, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, and Captain. Pat was also named 1993-1994 Fireman of the Year for his efforts in saving a local resident from a house fire. In April of 1997, Pat was elected 3rd Assistant Chief. He subsequently moved through the ranks to serve as 2nd Assistant Chief, 1st Assistant Chief, and as the 49th Chief of Department from 2003-2005. He was re-elected as the 51st Chief of Department in April 2007 and served in this capacity until April 2009.
