Ex-Chief Warren Ramskill

Warren Ramskill – Ex-Chief of Department
Ex-Chief Chief Warren Ramskill joined the department on December 9, 1985 and was assigned to Chemical Company No. 1. Since 1986, Warren has held numerous positions within Chemical Company including Company Secretary, 1st Assistant Engineer, Chief Engineer, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, and Captain. In 1999, Warren was elected to the position of 3rd Assistant Chief. He then moved up the ranks to the positions of 2nd Assistant Chief and 1st Assistant Chief. Warren was elected the 50th Chief of the Locust Valley Fire Department in April of 2005, a position he held until April 2007. Ex-Chief Ramskill also holds numerous firematic and rescue training certifications, which includes his training in the use of the Hurst Tool - "Jaws of Life".
