The Chief's Office Regrets to Announce the Passing of Commissioner & Ex-Chief Joseph Peirano

The chief's office regrets to announce the passing of Commissioner, Ex-Chief and 70-year member Joseph Peirano of Chemical Company #1. He will be reposing at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home in Glen Cove on Saturday, June 13th from 7-9pm, Sunday, June 14th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Firematic services will be held on Sunday, June 14th at 8pm. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Carle Place at 11am on Monday, June 15th. Members attending the firematic services must meet at the firehouse on Sunday at 7pm. Members attending the funeral must meet at the firehouse at 10am. Both events require class "A" uniform attire. The chief's office, as well as the members of the Locust Valley Fire Department extend our deepest condolences to the Peirano family. Joe was a good man and will surely be missed!
