Drill at Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club

The Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club opened their doors to the Locust Valley Fire Department for a valuable training session on Wednesday, August 25th. A crew of firefighters brought E543 and TL546 up to the Club on Forest Avenue and focused on search and rescue in commercial buildings. Assistant Chief Nolan reviewed the use of full PPE on all calls and also went over the donning of the SCBA for our newer members. The training session concluded with a walk-thru of the entire building which allowed members to see all the hidden spaces in this large commercial occupancy.

A special thank you to Mark Bilbrey from the GBBGC for coordinating this training session with the LVFD.
